BIOGRAPHY
After a year of dabbling in the world of acoustic/alternative rock, aspiring musicians, Garrett Jones and Heath Murdock (formerly Fall Classes for Kids), took time off in the summer of '08 to re-tool and re-evaluate their current situation and aspirations. It was a long and strange 12 weeks, much golf was played, a lot of green tea was drunk, and major decisions were made: ENTER GLOBAL WARNING.
The wheels were set into motion in early September. The duo was hard at work producing their first single, "I Do What I Want," which would drop October 16, 2008. It was at that point in which the project began to snowball at a rate inconceivable to the two young entertainers. Fame and accolades were thrust upon them and expectations of the growing fan base were high.
Three weeks after the introductory single was released, the duo dropped "Easy," which came with mixed reviews. Fans were losing faith and thought they may have been a one-hit-wonder. So, Global Warning pulled a rabbit from their hat and fired back with the truly inspired single, "I Wanna Be King" featuring AL-E.
The duo was back on top and was hard at work producing the highly anticipated, "I Do What I Want" music video. The music video, in all it's effects-laden glory was released on the sixteenth of january and began bouncing around the web like a beach ball at a nickelback concert. One pleased fan had this to say, "wow i'm impressed...seriously, not too shaaaabby!...they're good enough (that) it could go big." Another fan said, "Good work, including the hardcoreness. They are just as hardcore as any rapper on MTV." The video has since been entered in the U.H.S.F.F. film festival and is slated to do very well.
With "I Need You" the two took a different approach to prove their versatility. It worked. The track hurtled through space and into the hearts of many. The song was met with much praise but was slightly eclipsed by the shining light that was the music video.
More to come. We're Global Warning. Tell your friends.
