About Band
.ExternalClass .ecxhmmessage P {padding:0px;} .ExternalClass body.ecxhmmessage {font-size:10pt;font-family:Tahoma;} Out of the ashes of two popular local bands, former members came together 4 years ago and joined forces to create Element of the Machine. Soon after forming, this New England metal super group the band recorded it's first CD: Our Last Hope, which got them signed to United Kingdom based label Deka Records in 2009. After playing numerous shows and festivals, the band has honed their combined skills, and refined their sound into a brutally wreckoned force. Blending American and Swedish metal, they recorded their follow up CD, Ghosts of the Highlands, which brings us to today. Element of the Machine is currently hard at work in the studio working on their third CD getting it ready , and will start recording it soon in between playing more shows, building fan base, and perfecting their electrifying stage presence. Now with the help of our new label Your Label Records to help them open new doors and travel new roads, the band is ready to open the page of an exciting new chapter in their career. Featuring Christopher J. Mack on lead vocals and lead guitar, bass provided by Mike Descoteaux, Jeff Bixby on drums, Derek (pip) Burby on guitar, and the new third guitarist Derek Stribling. Taking inspiration from White Chapel and Iron Maiden by adding a third guitarist, this creates a whole new level for an amazing new sound which will be featured on their upcoming third CD featuring intricate guitar melody parts, and counterpoint harmony. The possibilities are endless and Element of the Machine has set out for ultimate supremacy by creating true hell-born metal.
