Denots has been a band for 10 years. We have went through several lineup changes and in the course of it all made 4 full length CDs. Our core or power trio has been together for 8 years. Our influences are Sabbath, Metallica, Testament, Korn, Pantera, Slipknot, Spineshank, Hed P.E., Alice in Chains, Life of Agony, Coal Chamber, fear Factory. Jer founded the group in 1999. At the time he studied music at I.S.U. where he studied theory and classical guitar. Soon after the first CD was made, the original drummer had other plans and Jer met Darin one afternoon at the convenient store and they started banging it out that very day. Currently working on the release of the fifth full length CD called "Symphony of Frost and Fire". Its a concept album per say. Its themed around a Novel by Robert R. McCammon called Swan Song. The Impending Apocalypse and the battle of good and evil are represented in this15 track monstrocity. There might be hope for the world yet as it awaits the 5th full length CD by Denots of Idaho Falls, Idaho.
