David “DC” Childs a.k.a Chizzy Childs a rapper/singer was born March 16th, 1989 in Jamaica, New York to mother Elaine Levant and to father David Childs III. During his early childhood he was mostly into video games and sports. He joined the chorus team in elementary as a hobby and gained his love for writing poems during high school. A few of his close friends he showed his poems to told him he should try to mix his poems with music. He tried and fell in love with writing and making music. DC prefers to rap rather than sing but he attempts to sing in a few of his own tracks. Limited to very few shows in May 2010 being one of his biggest shows at the Dream Big Hustle Hard showcase with Major A&R’s and Jam’N 94.5 in attendance. At the showcase is where he was introduced to Skyz Muzik a division of Def Jam Records but no initial negotiations were talked of. In January 2011 DC received a call from one hip hops outstanding managers Paul Rosenberg who manages artist Eminem. Still under negotiations with Paul and currently residing in Manchester, New Hampshire he is working on getting exposure for himself and his team “Skyline Team” a.k.a “Fly Gang” and building a fan base throughout his city.
