About Band
Birdlips is a folk-rock duo from Charlottesville, VA. Cliff Usher (vocals and guitar) and Lindsay Pitts (electric piano, organ, and backup vocals) used to be in this grungy dance rock band called the Business of Flies, but that band broke up so now they're doin their own thing in Birdlips armed with a repertoire of songs Cliff wrote while studying abroad in Spain and backpacking across Europe. Birdlips' debut album is being recorded at Monkeyclaus in Nelson County, Virginia and is due to be completed some time in November, 2007.
